физический эффект, при котором магнитные материалы проявляют близкие к парамагнитным свойства даже при температурах ниже точки Кюри (Curie point) или точки Нееля (Neel point). Это эффект проявляется при небольших размерах магнитных частиц, когда энергия, требуемая для изменения направления магнитного момента частицы, сопоставима с тепловой энергией. В этом состоянии вырастает частота, с которой частица может случайным образом изменять направление своей намагниченности
